Aside from Halogens, Oxygen Flask Combustion analysis can also be used to determine Sulphur content. This procedure produces water-soluble inorganic products which can then be titrated with Barium Perchlorate using Thorin screened with methylene blue indicator.

Like Bromine and Chlorine analysis methods for interfering components have been developed to elevate the procedure. With interfering metals, Sulphur can alternatively be analysed using ICP-OES.
